Hi, thanks for joining the Ubuntu at Work community. Our mission is to help women micro entrepreneurs escape poverty.  We do this two ways: first, we ‘friend’ women micro entrepreneurs and help them identify business opportunities and be better and more successful entrepreneurs; second, we help them produce and market green, edgy products developed by our collaborating designers.

We’ve just migrated to a new social networking platform very kindly developed for us by Thej. We’re resolving a few teething problems, so please bear with us while we complete the migration.

If you’re wondering how to help us, you can help us by:

1) if you are so inclined, designing green products our women micro entrepreneurs can produce;

2) if you live in a developing country, become a local Ubuntu at Work volunteer who friends women micro entrepreneurs;

3) wherever you are, start a local Ubuntu at Work Chapter that helps market the products our women produce;

4) and of course, we’d love your help with fundraising.
