Volunteering with Ubuntu at Work is easy and quick.
First, join our online community by registering. Second, scroll through the list of volunteer tasks available and sign up for the ones that best suit your skills and experience.
We thrive on your energy and enthusiasm. Our rapidly growing group of women micro entrepreneurs need your help to develop pathways out of poverty. You can make a huge difference to the quality of their lives by supporting them.
As a community we seek to:
- Treat each other as equals and with respect
- Be honest
- Be ethical
- Be transparent
We can’t help women escape poverty by throwing money at the problem. Women escape poverty when they gain capabilities and take advantage of market opportunities. To succeed at this, they need support - technical and social.
Helping womem escape poverty is easier than you might think it is, but it takes commitment. We're ready, are you?
If you'd like to intern with us, please email your resume to info@ubuntuatwork.org and mention 'intern' in the subject line. You can intern with us at our workspaces or from where ever you're based.
